A correspondent [BA] reports that Alexandrina Milne, married 1850 in Aberdeen, Scotland, was also called Alexina which can therefore be assumed, by association, to be a diminutive of Alexandrina. Both Alexandrina and Alexina are found on the Scottish 1881 Census.
